King Abdullah Military City

Scope of work: Master planning, concept & detailed design and project management for the King Abdullah military city. The King Abdullah Military City is a military, residential and administrative development project covering a total area of approximately 3Km x 2Km. The housing was designed by Dar Al Riyadh to accommodate 5000 staff. The project site has been connected to the city of Al Hofuf by an access road.
Dar Al Riyadh provided master planning, concept design, detailed design and project management consisting of a variety of military facilities including barracks, clinics, markets, sports fields, helipad, roads and all civil and electrical utilities. A large network of roads was designed for the project. The road system comprises of primary & secondary roads, local and access roads in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Communication.
