MOMRA National GIS Enterprise- Phase 3

Dar Al Riyadh established an enterprise GIS-Oracle database for the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs (MOMRA). This national geospatial database has paved the road for spatial data infrastructure (SDI) which resulted in the support of strategic town planning activities for the cities in the Kingdom. The database was set to host all kinds of spatial data, including digital elevation models (DEM), 3-D data, base maps, satellite images, aerial photography and all topographic data related to alleys, valleys, contours, different types of land use and networks such as road-network, electricity network, telephone network, etc.

Scope of work: Establishment of a national GIS enterprise.
