Dar Al Riyadh developed a detailed facility management system by mapping all infrastructure inside or outside the building using modern field / surveying technologies integrated with 3D GIS technologies and building information modeling for all Makkah municipality buildings. The solution uses AutoCAD 3D and fully integrates the 3D building information management (BIM) technologies along with GIS which resulted in improving efficiency, speed and performance of their maintenance operations.
