The design of the main infrastructure construction packages included packages such as the general grading & drainage, main perimeter roads, main utilities & services and the sewage treatment plant.

In 1989 Dar Al Riyadh was given the responsibility to prepare the architectural and engineering drawings and the complete construction packages for the entire project components. Additionally, Dar Al Riyadh also provided construction supervision of the whole project.

Dar Al Riyadh role covered the studies, master planning, architectural & engineering design and construction supervision of the Islamic university campus in Madinah. The scope of work also included design of all infrastructure such as roads, streets, drainage system, irrigation water systems, power plant, distribution system, telecommunication system, gas distribution system, fire alarm and solid waste disposal systems.
