Saudi Arabia is a key market for TechnipFMC. WE have a long history in the country and our Onshore/Offshore and Surface businesses are leading players.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s top oil exporters and also has very large gas reserves. While Saudi Aramco, the state-owned national oil company, is the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals business.

TechnipFMC has operated continuously in the country since the mid-1970s. We supply proprietary technologies to the market as well as having an involvement with the design and construction of state-of-the-art processing facilities.

We work with blue chip clients primarily across the oil and gas and petrochemical, and have been involved in more than 30 lumpsum turn key (LSTK) contracts, some of very large scale.

Our project history in Saudi Arabia includes complex basic design and front-end engineering design (FEED) works for large capital investments. We have been involved in the Jubail Export Refinery project for SATORP, the Khursaniyah Gas Plant for Saudi Aramco and olefins plant development for Yansab and Sharq.

We are also operating a facility in Dammam that provides services for upstream equipment and will shortly expand to include manufacturing.

TechnipFMC is committed to Saudi Arabia and to continued high quality, efficient and timely delivery of projects. We are also proud of our safety record, with 94 million direct construction man-hours delivered for the Jubail Export Refinery without a single lost time accident (LTA).

We aim to make a long-term contribution to Saudi Arabia’s economy by growing our presence and meeting the objectives of Saudi Aramco’s In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) Program.
